OUR STORY

Beeauty Haus, formerly known as ‘The Baddies Studio’, was founded in 2016 by Bigé Ceesay. The brand was born from Bigé’s lifelong passion for hair and beauty, a love that began at a young age. Throughout her school years, she was known for constantly switching up her hairstyles: experimenting with different colours, styles, and textures—which ultimately earned her the title of “Best Hair” at prom.

After finishing secondary school in 2015, Bigé began working at a cinema, giving her the independence and disposable income to further explore her creativity with hair. Everything changed when, for her 16th birthday, her mum gifted her raw human hair bundles. Instantly drawn to the authenticity and quality of the texture, Bigé fell in love. She proudly showcased the flow and versatility of the hair on her growing social media platforms, quickly gaining attention.

Driven by curiosity, Bigé began researching human hair extensions, purchasing bundles from various vendors and transforming them into wigs for herself. The response was overwhelming - compliments poured in everywhere she went, both in person and online. Although starting a business was never part of the original plan, the demand for her hair sources grew rapidly. At the time, there was a clear gap in the market for high-quality, reliable, and easily accessible hair extensions. Seeing an opportunity to serve the girls, Bigé decided to take a leap of faith.

In 2016, she launched Baddie Bundles, a brand that took off quickly and soon became a full-time passion. While juggling college and university, Bigé spent countless nights hand-making wigs into the early hours of the morning.

Like any entrepreneurial journey, the business came with its fair share of challenges. In November 2022, Bigé made the difficult decision to temporarily shut down the brand in order to restructure, refine, and elevate the business as a whole.

By March 2024, armed with invaluable experience and a clearer vision, Bigé returned stronger than ever. With a dedicated small team, she fully rebranded and relaunched the business—ushering in a new era as The Baddies Studio.

Our commitment to quality and customer service has always spoken for itself. With our previous rebrand, our growth skyrocketed - and as a small team, demand quickly exceeded what we could sustainably manage.

So, we took a step back to rebuild with intention.

Now, nearly a decade into the industry, we’re excited to evolve. We envisioned a brand with a fresh feel, elevated look, and refined energy. Today, we proudly reintroduce ourselves as Beeauty Haus — offering faster service, enhanced quality, and exceptional customer care.
